General Service Technician / Spanish

The local national brand auto repair shop is looking for a general service technician. We are dedicated to providing quality services to clients' vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair using the experience gained through ASE certifications and / or years of experience in automotive repair.

We are looking for general service technicians who are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with their peers. We have a full service facility and we are looking for automotive technicians to help us create a successful environment. If you are currently attending automotive school, we will be happy to work according to your school schedule.

Responsibilities:

As a general service technician, you will be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of automotive maintenance services, including:

Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including fluid changes and oil changes.

Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Mounting, balancing and rotating tires

Battery replacement

Changing bulbs, belts and hoses

Maintenance and cleaning of workshop areas

Other store maintenance items as needed

Ratings:

Entry-level technicians should have prior knowledge of automotive basics.

Knowledge of store equipment

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.

Term and detail-oriented

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Valid driver's license
