Experienced Auto Technician / Spanish

We are a local full service auto repair shop currently looking for a full time auto technician. We are dedicated to providing exceptional quality work and honest service. We offer a competitive salary within the field and the market.

We are looking for a person who is able to work independently from others, while at the same time being able to work collaboratively sometimes with their colleagues. We have a full service facility and we are looking for automotive technicians to help us create a successful environment. Ideally, this candidate would have experience working in an auto repair shop.

Responsibilities:

As an automotive technician, you will be exposed to and responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, including:

• Complete brake repair

• Tires and tire repair

• Car heating and air conditioning

• Steering and suspension

• Straps and hoses

• Engine and radiator cooling systems

• Batteries, starting and charging

• Steering and suspension

• Oil changes

• Factory scheduled maintenance

• Muffler and exhaust services

• Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications:

• Ability to repair vehicles independently, as well as having experience working well in a team environment.

• Knowledge of automotive brake, exhaust, suspension and engine diagnostics

• History of high personal productivity

• Knowledge of and compliance with environmental and safety regulations for repair facilities.

• Experience in the use of workshop equipment such as lifts, tire change equipment, alignment machines and scan tools.

• High school diploma or equivalent - a technical degree is a definite advantage

• State specific auto repair certifications

• Valid driver's license

• Own tools / equipment (diagnostic tools / scanner also preferred)

• Able to service national and foreign vehicles
