Automotive Technician – Midas South Lakeland

We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Technician (A or B level) to join our full-service facility. This individual will be able to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively with a team when needed. We are looking for Automotive Master Technicians to help us foster an environment of success.

Responsibilities:

As a Midas Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for a broad range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, including but not limited to:

• Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems

• Electrical diagnostics

• Tire repair and replacement

• Car heating and air conditioning systems

• Steering and suspension repairs

• Belts and hoses replacement

• Radiator and engine cooling system maintenance

• Battery, starting, and charging systems

• Brake inspection and repair

• Oil changes and fluid checks

• Check engine light diagnostics

• Muffler and exhaust services

• Welding (where applicable)

• Performing visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform repairs independently while also collaborating in a team environment

• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics

• Proven track record of high personal productivity

• Experience with shop equipment (e.g., lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and scan tools)

• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards in repair facilities

• Valid driver’s license

• Own tools and equipment

• Ability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
