AUTOMOTIVE A-LEVEL TECHNICIAN
Delaney Tire & Auto is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician to join our growing team.
We are looking for a skilled, dependable technician who can accurately diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems, produce quality work, and help support the development of less-experienced technicians.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical problems
- Perform engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and drivability repairs
- Complete thorough digital vehicle inspections with clear pictures, videos, and notes
- Accurately document diagnostic findings and repair recommendations
- Verify repairs and perform quality-control checks
- Maintain strong productivity and efficiency
- Communicate clearly with service advisors and management
- Assist and mentor B- and C-level technicians when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow established shop procedures and safety standards
Qualifications
- At least five years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to perform advanced mechanical repairs
- Comfortable working on a wide range of makes and models
- Must own the tools necessary for the position
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Dependable attendance and professional attitude
- ASE certifications are preferred
- State inspection license is a plus
