We’re looking for a professional, process-driven Assistant Automotive Service Manager who is focused on achieving goals and delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers hourly pay plus bonus potential and is a development position with opportunities to advance to Store Manager!
Key Responsibilities:
As Assistant Automotive Service Manager, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation. Your duties include:
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, providing excellent service for all their vehicle needs
- Phone Management & Scheduling: Handle calls and manage appointments with a professional attitude
- Vehicle Inspections & Pricing: Oversee inspections and discuss pricing estimates with customers, promoting service specials
- Basic Maintenance & Tire Service: Support oil changes, tire service, and basic maintenance as needed
- Inventory Control: Maintain and track inventory for efficient operations
- Facility Management: Ensure the shop is organized and clean
- Store Operations: Help manage all store operations and processes to meet goals
- Team Leadership: Motivate and support the team to uphold high standards
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of automotive repair experience with service writing skills
- A strong commitment to customer service and clear communication
- Proven leadership and team-building abilities
- Highly organized and process-oriented with a goal-focused mindset
- Computer proficiency for scheduling, estimating, and customer communications
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver’s license
