DPF Alternatives is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver / Shop Technician to join our growing team in Fort Worth, TX. This permanent Monday–Friday position offers additional hours based on business needs and performance. DPF Alternatives is an industry leader in diesel aftertreatment cleaning, specializing in ultrasonic Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) cleaning and backed by a lifetime warranty. This position combines shop technician duties with pickup and delivery driving. Time will be split between servicing diesel aftertreatment components and transporting customer filters/components to and from the facility.

Shop Technician Responsibilities:

  • Clean and restore Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC), and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) devices
  • Disassemble, inspect, and prepare components for service
  • Identify components requiring replacement instead of cleaning
  • Operate cleaning and remanufacturing equipment
  • Perform cutting and welding of exhaust components when needed
  • Replace damaged sensor bungs and substrates
  • Record all work using a digital workflow system
  • Create invoices and process customer payments
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop
  • Assist with future in-house diagnostics/removal/reinstallation services on light-duty diesel trucks (Ram, Ford, etc.)
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

  • Pick up and deliver filters/components to customers
  • Collect customer, vehicle, and component information using digital workflow tools
  • Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep
  • Perform daily safety inspections on delivery vehicle
  • Assist outside sales representatives with customer relationships and sales efforts
  • Represent DPF Alternatives professionally and ethically at all times
Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Steel toe boots and proper PPE required
  • Ability to lift heavy items
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools
  • Basic cutting/welding experience preferred (training provided if needed)
  • Ability to remove exhaust sensors and components
  • Comfortable using tablets and digital workflow systems
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Professional demeanor with customers and vendors
Working Conditions:

  • Daily driving throughout the company’s service area
  • Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Physical activity required throughout the workday
Pay & Benefits:

  • $17/hour
  • Flexible schedule
