About the Role:
Midas - Lake Jackson is looking for a motivated and reliable Lube Technician to join our growing team in Lake Jackson, TX! Responsibilities:
- Perform oil and filter changes on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate findings to service advisors
- Check and top off fluids including coolant, brake fluid, power steering, and windshield washer fluid
- Rotate tires and check tire pressure per manufacturer specifications
- Replace air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the shop
- Assist senior technicians with basic automotive repairs and maintenance tasks
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a lube technician or in an automotive service role preferred
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and preventative care
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume shop environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
