Journeyman Technician

Fast paced high volume shop in Dublin has a rare opportunity due to the retirement of our lead
technician after 25 years of service. My compensation program is unique. Not only do we pay a generous
commission on labor, but on parts also.

Our lead tech made in excess of $100K last year and I will share these numbers with you during our
interview. The ideal candidate must be able to verify the ability to perform in excess of 50 labor hours
weekly in a 40 hour work week.

You will be expected to perform a wide range of diagnostic repairs, general service and maintenance
including but not limited to:
➢ Diagnostics using state-of-the-art scan tools
➢ Tire installation, balance & repairs
➢ Heating and air condition service & repairs
➢ Timing, serpentine belts & hoses
➢ Radiator & engine cooling systems
➢ Battery, starters & charging repairs
➢ Brake & ABS system repairs
➢ Muffler & exhaust system repairs and installation
➢ Accurately perform vehicle safety digital inspections

Qualifications:
➢ Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also working well within a team environment
➢ Solid knowledge of auto mechanics brakes, exhaust, suspension & engine diagnostics
➢ Track record of proven high productivity in excess of 50 hours of flat rate weekly
➢ Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, Hunter Alignment & scan tools
➢ Valid CA drivers license
➢ Ability to service both Foreign & Domestic vehicles
➢Open 7 days a week so weekends are MANDATORY 

First consideration will be given to those with previous experience at any of the following automotive
facilities: Wheel Works, Firestone, Good Year, Midas or independent repair shop/Dealers and or mechanics
with or currently working on obtaining ASE in brakes and/or suspension.
